Farmers are upcycling wool into an alternative to nitrogen fertilizer

Sheep farmers in Alberta are upcycling nitrogen-rich wool pellets into natural fertilizers that could replace synthetic ones. By reusing waste wool that is too dirty to be resold, Canadian sheep farmers may even be able to begin to offset the carbon footprint of the wool industry.
