FastFeetGrinded, based in the Netherlands, is tackling the global footwear waste problem. The company aims to recycle 100% of the footwear, including various materials like plastics, rubbers, and synthetics, even leather. The recycled components are then used to create other products such as elements for playgrounds and outdoor sports centers. With more than 23 billion pairs of shoes entering the market each year and around 300 million discarded annually, FastFeetGrinded aims to revolutionize the shoe industry by addressing its environmental impact.
