How bricks can help us build a greener future

Kenoteq is a cleantech company based out of Edinburgh that specializes in the development of highly sustainable building materials. They have developed a K-briq that is made from 90% recycled construction material and requires less than a tenth of energy to manufacture when compared to traditional bricks. The bricks are produced onsite at a waste handling company in Scotland to reduce transport miles and limit any additional CO2 involved in its production.
