How bricks can help us build a greener future
Kenoteq is a cleantech company based out of Edinburgh that specializes in the development of highly sustainable building materials. They have developed a K-briq that is made from 90% recycled construction material and requires less than a tenth of energy to manufacture when compared to traditional bricks. The bricks are produced onsite at a waste handling company in Scotland to reduce transport miles and limit any additional CO2Â involved in its production. Learn how this circular economy approach can be replicated at waste handling facilities nationwide.
