How reuse programs are shaping a circular economy

MOM’s Organic Market is changing the bulk shopping experience by replacing scoopable bins with gravity bins. The pull-down lever of a gravity bin dispenses food without its having any contact with a person’s hand. Similarly, LimeLoop is providing retail companies with a set of reusable packages (made from upcycled billboard vinyl and lined with recycled cotton) for an estimated 200 uses. Here’s how the two companies are promoting sustainability and spurring innovation during a global pandemic.
