IKEA plans to phase out plastic in consumer packaging by 2028
IKEA has pledged to phase out plastic in consumer packaging by 2028 to reduce plastic pollution and focus their efforts on developing packaging from renewable and recycled materials. To date, IKEA has already eliminated plastic from many of its packaging including switching from polystyrene boxes to cardboard. Read about IKEA’s environmental commitment.
