Irish law targets single-use products and illegal dumping

Ireland is continuing towards a more circular economy by signing the new Circular Economy and Miscellaneous Provisions Act. The act aims to phase out a range of single-use items and allows local authorities to use CCTV to tackle illegal dumping and littering. It also addresses fossil fuels as it ends the issuing of new licences for the exploration and mining of coal, lignite, and oil shale.
