Is McDonald’s finally joining the zero waste movement?
Next year, McDonald’s will begin testing a reusable hot beverage cup in the United Kingdom. The reusable cup was developed by Terracycle’s Loop program. For a small deposit, customers will be able to use the cup and then return it to a participating location where it will be sterilized and reused. Read more here.
