Kenyan startup recycles plastic into bricks stronger than concrete

A Nairobi-based entrepreneur has developed a prototype machine that converts discarded plastic into paving stones. The startup has recycled more than 20 tons of plastic waste into bricks that have been tested to hold twice the weight threshold of concrete blocks. In doing so, it has generated 112 job opportunities for garbage collectors, women and youth groups in Kenya. Learn more about the brilliant circular initiative.
