Edmonton business sees uptake in garment recycling

An Edmonton-based entrepreneur is diverting hundreds of pounds of clothes from landfill with an “out-of-the-box” idea. The small business collects unwanted textiles from local charities or thrift stores and grades them in-house. Unusable or unwearable textiles are either torn down, recycled and reused, or sold in a $20 box containing 20 pounds of clothes. Watch this video to learn more about the sustainable initiative.
