Michigan’s Upper Peninsula expands drop off locations for e-waste recycling take-back program
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula now has more recycling options for old electronics through the state’s Electronic Waste Take-Back Program, which has added nine permanent drop-off locations since 2021, doubling the number in the region. Prior to this, e-waste recycling facilities were mainly in the Lower Peninsula, meaning Upper Peninsula residents had to travel long distances to drop off e-waste.
