New depot helps Kelowna residents safely dispose of automotive oil
Interchange Recycling has opened a new used oil recycling depot in Kelowna at The Great Canadian Oil Change. This non-profit organization collects and recycles used motor oil, oil filters, containers, antifreeze, and antifreeze containers across British Columbia. The new location features a 10-foot sea container with a 1,100-litre tank for storing these materials. David Lawes, CEO of Interchange Recycling, emphasized the importance of this new infrastructure in supporting B.C.’s circular economy by keeping automotive materials out of landfills.
