A congressionally mandated study led by Professor Emily A. Carter at Princeton University has unveiled a detailed roadmap for large-scale recycling of carbon pollution into valuable products like fuels and construction materials. Building on a 2023 report, the new study outlines both research and policy strategies to overcome challenges in this field. The committee suggests that recycling up to 10% of carbon dioxide emissions into products such as concrete, carbon fiber, and jet fuels could significantly contribute to net-zero emissions goals.
