Reusables.com, a technology platform for the circular economy, has partnered with Compass Group Canada, launching its Tap to Reuse and Smart Return Bin technology at Simon Fraser University’s Mackenzie Café. The technology enables customers to replace single-use packaging with stainless steel reusable containers. The free service operates like a library system, letting people easily borrow and return containers. Reusables.com’s software tracks and reports on environmental impact, and its RFID tags and automated return system ensure a 99% overall return rate for containers.
