Ontario Repair Café event helped residents embrace circularity
Sustainable Orillia held a free Repair Café to help residents repair their old appliances, clothing, and household items. With many countries moving toward right-to-repair legislation, cities like Orillia are hoping to lead the way by holding their own events to inspire change. Volunteers were on hand to help residents mend, fix, and repair items to extend their use and divert them from the landfill. Learn more.
