Patagonia, an outdoor clothing brand, has partnered with the creative textile platform Makers Unite to open a new repair centre in Amsterdam. The United Repair Centre (URC) is designed to repair both brands’ clothing to extend the life of garments instead of purchasing new items. The URC is actively working to reduce textile waste while also changing consumer perspectives on wearing clothes that have been repaired or recycled. Learn about how the facility aims to make 300,000 repairs a year.
