Recycling program for cooking oil launches in the UAE
Bee’ah Tandeef is a waste management organization in the United Arab Emirates that uses the latest technology to provide street cleaning, waste collection, tracking and sorting services. They have recently introduced a cooking oil recycling program that turns waste cooking oil into biodiesel, which is then used to fuel their fleet of waste collection trucks. Members of the community can contact the company to receive special oil collection bottles, and once they are filled with used oil, they can be deposited at a collection machine to be recycled.
