Renewable energy available for purchase at IKEA for Swedish households

Part of IKEA’s climate-positive plan is to make electricity from sustainable sources more accessible and affordable for everyone. They source their renewable energy from solar and wind parks from their business partners that will buy the energy from the Nordic Power Exchange. Households in Sweden can purchase the energy for a fixed monthly fee and a variable rate and track their usage using an app. IKEA also sells solar panels in 11 markets and those buyers can track their electricity production and resell surplus electricity through the app. Read more.
