UK testing out new digital recycling and rewards program
A new, digitally-driven recycling program called the Scan|Recycle|Reward digital deposit return scheme is underway in a UK county. The program encourages people to scan QR codes on drink containers made of glass, metal, or plastic and recycle them in order to receive money for each recycled item.
