Scientists discover better way to recycle common plastic while maintaining its durability
Researchers at Northwestern University have developed an improved process for recycling polyurethane foams, a common plastic used as cushioning in products like bedding, furniture, and car interiors. The process reprocesses and “refoams” polyurethane using heat while allowing it to maintain its structural integrity and durability throughout. Read more about the greener method for reprocessing polyurethane foams.
