Skyscraper in Sydney uses 70% of materials upcycled from an older building

BG&E, an engineering firm known for sustainability, achieved a milestone by transforming an old high-rise building into the Quay Quarter Tower in Sydney. The construction project, in collaboration with Collaborating with Autodesk, used 70% of existing materials. The project not only saved tons of materials from waste but also exceeded emissions targets. Launched in 2015, the project was finished in only seven years.
