Strathcona County families and residents are set to participate in the Catch the Cow 2024 Challenge, an initiative set to showcase pilot project businesses and their efforts to advance Strathcona County towards a more circular economy. The Circular Innovation Council’s organics waste diversion pilot project aims to identify barriers, motivations, and cost factors in waste management for businesses in Strathcona County. With a 10-year Waste Roadmap, the Strathcona County initiative seeks to shape future diversion strategies, incentives, and regulations for the commercial sector.
