Sustainable cement innovation secures funding for new production facility
Innovative Ash Solutions, a Scottish-based manufacturing facility has received a £500,000 award from Zero Waste Scotland’s Circular Economy Investment Fund to support the development of pulverized fuel ash (PFA), a key ingredient in cement. The company’s patented process diverts waste materials from the landfill and avoids the use of virgin materials to create PFA that is cheaper and produces fewer carbon emissions.
