Stadler Anlagenbau, a Germany-based sorting and recycling equipment provider, has completed a project along with weeeSwiss Technology to design and install an electronic scrap sorting plant for Immark in Regensdorf, Switzerland. Immark is part of the Thommen Group and sought to replace its existing facility to increase processing capacity and maintain high-quality output. The new facility, the largest e-scrap sorting plant in Switzerland, is the first to use a ballistic separator, operating with a capacity of up to 12 tons per hour. It aims to optimize the recovery of printed circuit boards and sort materials into nonferrous, ferrous, PCBs, stainless steel, and plastic fractions.
