Tasmanian government makes strides in tire rubber recycling

The Tasmanian government is using crumb rubber to resurface roads in the island state, with 18 sites completed with the recycled material last year. This recycled rubber material from scrap tires will be produced in a new blending plant, to be used in at least nine more sites before 2025. Read more about using crumb rubber to resurface roads.
