Thailand bans e-waste imports
Thailand has banned imports of over 400 categories of e-waste items in an effort to combat dumping from other countries. Strict penalities for violating the ban include prison sentences of up to 10 years and fines of up to five times the price of the e-waste imported illegally. Read more here.
