The worlds first fossil-free steel
Hybrit, a Swedish green steel venture has produced steel without the use of coal. After a year of testing operations at its pilot plant in North Sweden, Hybrit is ready to deliver its green steel to customers. Their breakthrough technology for fossil-free iron and steelmaking represent proof that it’s possible to make the transition to significantly reduce the global carbon footprint of the steel industry.
