Oil companies see value in turning kitchen grease into renewable diesel

Many crude oil refiners are spending roughly USD 2 billion to retool refineries and produce fuel over the next four years. While some oil companies predict that electric cars will play a critical role in reducing greenhouse emissions, others are turning to restaurant grease, particularly used cooking oil, to produce renewable diesel.
