Ugandan telecom company donates 379 electronic items in an initiative to enhance electronics repair and reuse

MTN Uganda, the largest telecom company in Uganda, has donated 379 electronic items valued at UGX65 million to Fundi Bots, an organization focused on STEM and robotics training in primary and secondary schools. The donation includes smartphones, mobile phones, KVM machines, server racks, and more. This initiative aims to enhance electronics repair, reuse, and robotics programs, aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals. MTN Uganda’s donation is part of its commitment to responsible e-waste management, previously donating to Makerere University College of Engineering for recycling and reuse.
