Unilever to invest in a plastic-free laundry solution

The company announced that it will invest in developing a plastic-free laundry tablet that aims to replace single-use sachets. The idea was one of 10 new solutions to emerge from Unilever’s “Rethink Plastic” Hackathon, which brought together Unilever teams with leading designers, innovators, venture capitalists and packaging experts.
