UofT startup turns CO2 into shampoo, lawn furniture, and more

CERT Systems is a U of T startup using electrochemistry to transform carbon dioxide (CO2) into ethylene, used to make an assortment of everyday items, from shampoo to mattresses. CERT works with many organizations to bring some of the nation’s top clean energy leaders and investors together to accelerate companies offering new solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
