Walmart diverts waste through sustainable packaging
Walmart’s e-commerce business is working to remove 2,000 tonnes of plastic from circulation by the end of this fiscal year. To achieve this, the company will use recyclable paper bag mailers rather than plastic ones for items that are ordered and shipped. The company will also be taking measures to use right-size carboard boxes and consolidating orders into fewer boxes. Read more about Walmart’s sustainable packaging.
