York Region launches electronic reuse collection events
Free Geek Toronto has partnered with NewMakeIt to run reuse collection events for electronics taking place on most Sundays in Newmarket, until May 29. The initiative is one of six that the York Region has funded to educate and promote sharing and repairing for environmental benefits. Residents are encouraged to donate old devices and electronics to be refurbished and reused. Read the list of accepted electronics, and the dates the program will be running on.
