With the Tires Regulation came into effect on January 1, 2019, RPRA held two information sessions to provide guidance and updates to affected stakeholders.
On October 10, 2019, RPRA held an information session with Tire Haulers to provide clear guidance and direction around Tire hauling and recycling in Ontario under the new Tires Regulation. Topics included:

In April 2018, the Government of Ontario released the Tires Regulation. RPRA held several events throughout 2018 to support affected stakeholders prepare to meet their regulatory obligations when the regulation took full effect in 2019.
In September 2018, RPRA held two information sessions for Tires registrants to help them understand the role of Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs) and how producers can contract with PROs to help them meet their regulatory obligations. Topics included:

On July 24, 2018, RPRA held an information session with Tire producers to provide an overview of the registration process. The session provided information on what to expect when registering and provided a step-by-step walkthrough of the process.
