Emirates Airline introduces closed-loop onboard waste recycling
Dubai-based airline Emirates has partnered with deSter, an aviation service ware and closed-loop manufacturing expert, to introduce a new recycling initiative to support the airline’s transition towards a circular economy. This initiative will see millions of plastic items from onboard meals being recycled into new bowls, trays, dishes to be used on future flights.
